Three cases of femoral neuropathy following living related donor renal transplantation are reported. All three patients developed quadriceps weakness on the side of transplantation after the surgery. Nerve conduction and electromyographic studies were consistent with the diagnosis of femoral neuropathy. A review of reported cases and possible mechanisms of nerve injury are discussed. |
